Good afternoon everybody,
Matthew tells a story in chapter 21, of the Lord in a role of authority and dominion. Of course, another account says he made a whip! Which proves that it was not an emotional outburst, but Spirit led. Watch this.
12And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
Now, here’s Jesus, whipping and throwing tables, and the blind and lame come up. He says ‘not now, I’m busy. Can’t you see it’s not God’s time? He is doing a purging’. No! He healed them.
Friends, Jesus was actually prophecying when He healed them. He had just said that the temple was not a den of thieves, but a house of prayer. He was saying that the Lord was going to be living in people, not buildings. He was saying it is NOT His will for our bodies to be a ‘den of thieves’, with sin, fear, sickness, etc. It IS His will that our bodies be clean, whole and strong. Houses of prayer, temples of the Holy Spirit. Our bodies, not spirits. 1 Corinthians 6.
We are houses of prayer, it is written!

What can we do?
Good evening everybody,
John 6 says something relieving… The crowd was asking Jesus.
28 They replied, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?”
29 Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
Wow! Kind of takes the pressure off, doesn’t it? God loves us. Regardless of what we do, regardless of what we don’t do, He loves us.
You can’t do anything to make God love you any more than He already does. Think of it this way, what is infinity plus one? Infinity. God, our Father, loves us infinitely, without boundaries, limits or measures.
The height of His love is higher than the farthest star is away from the earth!
The depth of His love is deeper than the bottomless pit. The width is wider than the east is from the west. The length of the Father’s love is longer than the combined length of every measurable thing that exists! Selah (think about it for a minute)
Your heavenly Father loves you! He loves me! I know in my spirit that as we allow our hearts to dwell on, and in, his infinite love we will find it easier to believe and receive all the blessings He delights to give.

The Word
Good evening everyone,
The first few verses of John are some of my favorites.
1 In the beginning the Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
2 He existed in the beginning with God.
3 God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
4 The Word gave life to everything that was created,[a]
and his life brought light to everyone.
5 The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
Look at verses 3and 4. The Word created every single thing that was created. He (the Word) gave life to every thing.. If He created everything and gave life to everything, it would be a simple thing to do a repair job on a body. Yes, Jesus is the Word made flesh, but the Word is alive and active. And it is medicine to all your flesh (proverbs 4). Isaiah said God’s word never returns void. How does it return to Him? We speak it out. It’s so simple! Isn’t that great?! I love you all.

Letting Things Slip
Good evening everyone,
I heard that a minister once was seeking the Lord about some things that were slow in coming. He was used to quicker results, and felt like maybe he was missing something, so he asked the Lord. The Lord showed him three things that he needed to work on. The Lord said this…
1. You are not praying in the Spirit (speaking in other tongues) enough.
2. You are not ‘calling things that be not as though they were’ enough.
3. You are not letting the peace of God rule in your heart.
I figure if a full time minister needs to look at these things, I could too.
It is not the hearer of the word that gets results, it is the doer of the word.
We can’t heal ourselves, we cannot deliver ourselves, but we have to agree with the word for it to work. The bible says in Amos how can two walk together unless they are agreed. So to walk with the Lord daily, we agree with His word. His word that we are already healed, already delivered, already cleansed and free. Say it with me, I am healed, I am delivered, I am cleansed and free. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Thanks be to God which always causes us to triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14) now let the peace of God rule in your heart.

Jesus Loves Us
Good afternoon everybody,
Just how much does Jesus love you? Let me count the ways.
He left His seat and position at the right hand of God the Father.
He emptied Himself of all His glory and power, becoming fully human.
Philippians 2 6Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [[b]possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not [c]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped [d]or retained,
7But stripped Himself [of all privileges and [e]rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
He became a completely dependant baby, submitting to the authority of two young sinners, Mary and Joseph.
He grew up tempted but not sinning. Completely correctible.
He often did without sleep and food out of compassion for the people.
He was pressured to the point of sweating blood, tempted to think of Himself. Yet He only thought of us. Only love for us!
He went to the cross to cleanse our sins. (becoming sin itself)
He went to the whipping post for our punishment, the curse of the law.
He went to hell so we would not have to.
He was raised from the dead, raising us with Him. (Ephesians 2 4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
He gave us authority over demons and disease. (Matthew 16)
He put His spirit within us. 2 Corinthians 1:22
And He gave us gifts! 1 corinthians 12
Wow! What a wonderful savior! Jesus loves us! He really loves us!!

God Made You Clean
Good evening everybody.
Acts is full of great stories. This one from chapter 10 tells you about a vision Peter had while waiting for lunch once.
11He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14"Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
15The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean."
The Lord was speaking of Gentiles originally, but He quickened that last line to me in a broader sense.
Brothers and sisters, WE have been made clean by the precious blood of Jesus! He has erased all our sin forever, nailing it to the cross. Corinthians says we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ.
So, you are NOT just ‘an old sinner saved by grace’. You are saved by grace and you are righteous! What God has called clean is clean!! Thanks be to God for making and calling us clean!

Circumcision
Bless you all in Jesus’ name.
After the new generation of the children of Israel crossed the Jordan, one of the first things they had to do was circumcise their males. It is a private, vulnerable place. I know it is gross, but it is in the bible, Joshua 5. The stuff they cut off was ugly, and they even named the place! Then they had a huge victory at Jericho.
We are circumcised in the heart. That is a private and vulnerable place, too. The sin that was cut off was also ugly and gross. We now have a covenant with the living God! Our victory is now and eternal.
I have seen, though, that I need to circumcise my mind. The old way of thinking is just as ugly and gross as the physical junk. For instance, thinking that we have to defend ourselves is the old way of thinking. The Lord Jesus is our defender, redeemer and deliverer. Anything we do outside of the love of God is counterproductive and will definitely backfire eventually. But it is so hard! There are times when, for me, what began as a simple request, or even a thank you, ends up with me defending myself because I was misunderstood. Which is usually strife. Strife is ugly and gross. We need to be committed to getting rid of strife, whatever it takes. With that in mind, please pray for me. The breathing mask makes it hard to communicate, and I can’t wear my glasses so I squint sometimes. It looks like I am frowning. For now my job is growing my faith, and faith works by love. Not strife. My flesh wants to defend me and fully explain myself, but with my caregivers it sometimes makes it worse. That is a way of thinking (defending myself) that needs to be circumcised. Jesus does a fine job of defending me, if I let Him. Victory against strife can be mine. Even if I am misunderstood. Wisdom says I need to clarify some, so please pray that I will know when to speak. Amen?
What ways of thinking do you have that need to be circumcised? I know it is not pleasant, it can be painful and vulnerable. But the victory is worth it!
