All God's Promises

Get That Vision Out
Blessings to you today!
Today I feel impressed to share what little I know about bringing a vision to pass in the physical realm. It’s already done as far as Jesus is concerned. But we live subject to time, and just a few days can discourage us if we forget. It only took three days for the Israelites to lose the vision when they were thirsty.
I am not an expert by any means, but the Lord has shown me a few things that will help us see our vision faster. There are probably more, but this is what I know. It’s not what I know that works, though. It’s what I do that works for me.
First, keep the vision, and the boundless might of the Lord, high on your mind. He is faithful to all His promises.
Second, be diligent. It takes diligence to keep the vision. Day in, day out. No matter how it feels. Like it or not. Read the word every day. It is your life! And whatever the Lord has told you to do… Keep doing it. And praise the Lord for the finished work, because it’s really already done.
Third, be faithful with what you already have. For instance, if you are dreaming of a new car, keep the one you have in good repair and clean. If it is a house you want, make sure you keep your apartment or rental house better than you would your own house. If you are looking for a promotion, be faithful with the job you have. Be on time, work hard, don’t surf the net or take a lot of personal calls. If you are believing God for strength in your body, do everything you can (work out hard) and expect more.
These things aren’t easy or fun, but doing them will speed up the time between sowing your seed and harvest time. It’s like watering the ground every day.
The bible says that if we are faithful with the small things, He will make us to rule over much.

Vision Again
Hello again!
Proverbs 29 (again) says without a vision we perish but if we keep the word, we will be blessed. So that implies that getting and doing the word will give you a vision. Putting God’s word into your eyes and ears, speaking it out your mouth, will keep God’s vision before the eyes of your heart. Check out the story of Jacob and the flocks and herds he kept. His uncle had swindled him time and time again. Genesis 30 – basically, when the sheep and cows drank, apparently that’s when they mated. So in order to grow his flocks, he put striped branches in front of the strong females. Here’s the point: they conceived and brought forth what they saw. And every story in the bible is not only real history, it is chosen by the holy Spirit to be written down so we can learn a spiritual lesson from them.
We also conceive and bring forth what we see, for better or worse.
Friends, enlarge your vision! See better, stronger, more in your future. Walk and talk with Jesus about it. Let Him get a hold of your vision; He will make it so big and good you have to stretch your heart to see it. I double-dog dare you!! J

More on Vision
Good afternoon friends.
Proverbs 29 says without a vision the people perish, but blessed is he who keeps His word.
In this email, I am going to ask some uncomfortable questions.
I am convinced by the truth in the word of God that everyone who asks for healing gets healed in the eyes of heaven. So why do we not always see it here in the land of the living? I don’t presume to have all the answers, but I think the lord has revealed something to me that I hadn’t seen before, at least the way I saw this week.
We all know that Jesus said many times ‘your faith has made you whole’ or the equivalent. So it’s faith. ‘but sister so –n- so had faith and she died.’ Is it possible to have faith and not see results? I guess so. But is it God’s fault? Never!!!
I’m thinking we don’t know as much about faith as we need to in order to make it work all the time. In the story of the woman with the issue of blood, her faith came when she heard about Jesus. Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17) She kept saying ‘if I can touch His clothes, I will be healed.’ Faith goes by saying. Then she acted by touching His clothes. The bible says faith without works is dead. (in James) funny thing; right after saying faith without works is dead, he went into talking about talking. So the main action we can do is speak.
But what happens when you speak scriptures and don’t see results? Did you not believe enough? What if, like in my case, you got worse? There must be something else, something we’re missing. Mark 11 says believe that you receive (take) your health now and then you will have it. It says to see having it now.
I believe that what we are missing sometimes is vision. Without a vision in my heart of me getting myself out of bed, running to the car, eating and drinking, I’ll never see it out here. Faith has to have something to work on, a blueprint to follow. Without it, there is nothing to latch onto. The Lord is always speaking to me about His vision for me, if I’ll listen to Him. He shows me playing with my kids, hugging Brian, and teaching the word. But the devil is constantly throwing his vision into my head. He shows me a nursing home or a coffin. If I do nothing, that is what I will see. It’s a constant battle for my thoughts. So I have a good idea of what might have happened to sister so –n- so. They may have gotten tired of the battle. Who could blame them? If heaven was their destination, and they could not see getting better, why not go on? You see, no one really knows what is going on inside someone else. I’m not in pain. I couldn’t begin to understand what the devil would be showing someone in pain. Paul the apostle said, in Philippians I think, that he (and we all) had a choice whether to stay here and work or go to be with Jesus. He decided to work for a while but in 2 Timothy he said he was ready to go. I believe we have a choice in those situations. God is full of mercy. He will not make someone suffer if they are through fighting, but He will strengthen them through His word and Spirit if they want to fight to stay and work some more. You don’t have to agree with me; it’s ok.
I have a job to do. I have a vision, and I am fighting to keep it before my eyes. I am not afraid of dying, but I am not ready to go. With long life He will satisfy me. Psalm 91:16. Jesus has healed me by His stripes. Isaiah 53:5. The Holy Spirit lives in me and brings my mortal body back to life. Romans 8:11. I will run and not get weary. Isaiah 40:31 And, I will sing of the mercies of the Lord. Psalm 89:1 I am expecting to see strength soon!
You can agree with me to keep God’s vision before my eyes, and to receive more revelation of His future for me and my family.

Life
Blessings, friends.
Last night as my children had a fight that started as an innocent game, I was reminded of many instances in my past when idle chat turned into strife. After the kids lost tv, I was thinking how foolish, or childish, it was. Winning that fight meant nothing and both parties were punished for much longer than the fight lasted. However, if they had apologized without any excuse, they would not have been punished.
So how does this apply to us? Well, I think it applies on several levels.
But first, a scripture… J
24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.’
In my life, God has blessed my mind. I retain information very well. He has also given me the ability to relate one thing to another. The problem with that is I’m correct enough of the time that in the flesh, I believe I’m right all the time. J
The flesh either knows it’s right or feels right. If you are less logical and more emotional, your flesh feels right. The flesh demands its own way because it feels right, or knows it’s right. Now with children, the futility is obvious. With us, however, not so much.
If we can stop for a moment and ask two questions, we would be much less likely to sin. ‘what will I gain and lose if I give in?’ and ‘what will I gain and lose if I don’t?’
If you have to be right for your physical safety or well being, then with prayer inside don’t give in. but most of the time, only our self-esteem or our ‘feelings’ are at risk. So what happens if you give in first? You may be a little stifled or even stung in your mind or emotions, but you will have gained a relationship. What is more important? What is it worth to win an argument but lose the relationship, or save yourself but lose your soul (to the sin of strife, in this case)? Jesus says in this scripture to turn from our selfish ways, take up His cross and follow Him. He wants us to follow Him, not necessarily to Africa. Maybe to the kitchen or living room. Maybe to our own humility… But wherever He leads, it’s worth going. For now and forever. Isn’t that ironic? By losing, we win! J

Memorial Day
Happy memorial weekend.
I thank God for all the veterans and soldiers who have fought and are fighting for our country.
I was reading and something caught my eye. (Matthew 7) The phrase ‘do the will of my Father’ seems to be something other than working for Him. Even casting out demons in His name doesn’t qualify on its own merit, according to this scripture.
Thank goodness Jesus went on to explain further. Using a parable… Well, here. You read it.
21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”
So this says two kinds of people worked for him. They both heard the Word. No matter what their ministry was, even miracles, they were different. One obeyed the Word. He did what he heard his Master say. The other one heard but ignored the Word, or said, ‘I’m too busy working for You to bother with the details right now. I’ll catch up on my relationship later.’
When I was teaching I have to admit I played catch up in my relationship with Him on holidays or the summer. Even though my work bore fruit,, I suffered needlessly because I didn’t follow the teaching just before this passage. Jesus talks about worry just before this. And what will bless me. Paul even said he had to put his flesh under so that after all his work, he wouldn’t be disqualified. Matthew 6 and 7 is worth another look with the mindset that obeying is building our lives on the rock. Plus it really frees us to just be children of our Father.
And friends with Jesus. And for us personally, that’s all that matters. All the fruit we bear is great, but in the end the goal is to know Him. Then fruit comes naturally as we move in Him. Yes, even miracles! How awesome!!!
