Hello everyone.
Like the sun’s rays get bent through the atmosphere, the Lord’s light shines out of our spirit and gets bent through our personality. If we are clean and clear of sin that is. Sin is opaque to the light, like mud on the lens of a flashlight.
Our differences make the body of Christ beautiful but many people use personality as an excuse for acting carnally, or in the flesh. That is sin compounded by pride. Friends, let us clean our lenses so we can shine for His glory. We are beautiful, and even more so when we are working together in unity. We are just like that rainbow around God’s throne. Gorgeous!
I do love you all!

God Made the Sky Blue
Grace (God’s mercy, favor and empowerment) and peace (complete wholeness in spirit, soul and body) to you in the name of Jesus.
Have you really looked at the sky lately? It is such a rich blue, with the occasional white puffy cloud for variety. So you don’t get bored. One of my favorite things to do is seeing shapes in the clouds. Did you know that the rainbow is a copy of the bow around God’s throne? That’s why He told Noah He was setting not just any bow, but His bow, in the sky.
As I was praising and thanking the Lord for the sky this afternoon, it suddenly ‘dawned’ on me… Refraction! For you who forgot science, that is a big word for bending. A slight change in the direction of the light ray. The Lord set it up so that every different color bends its own amount. Here’s the cool part; the same rule (or law or principle) that makes the blue sky also makes the clouds white, the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, and the rainbow! What a marvelous, all-wise God we have. All that beauty from one rule. Oh, His judgments are right, fair and just!
I am convinced that every physical phenomenon is a mirror image of a spiritual truth. 1 John says that God is light. He is described as ‘fire (or multicolored light, like the fire of a diamond) from the waist up and fire from the waist down’, with ‘bright beams coming from His hands’. That’s our Father!! little bunny trail; that is what Adam and Eve looked like in the garden. That glory light was their clothes. And, that is how we will look in heaven. Even now, we are being changed into His image from glory to glory as we see, or behold, Him. 2 Corinthians 3:18 ‘But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass (mirror) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.’ Oh, my! That’s so exciting, I am shouting praises inside!! Oh, what a Father! What a Savior! What a Comforter! The Holy Spirit shows us the glory of the Lord through the word of God, nature, the love of friends and even our children. Especially through praise and worship and just quietly listening to Him.
Life is so good! Praise you, Jesus! Glory to your name!
I was going to parallel refraction to a spiritual principle, but it can wait. The Lord directed my bunny trail today. Hallelujah!

Scriptures for Husbands and Grapevines
Blessings everyone. The Word is still true today.
Psalm 128 says
How joyful are those who fear the Lord—
all who follow his ways!
2 You will enjoy the fruit of your labor.
How joyful and prosperous you will be!
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine,
flourishing within your home.
Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees
as they sit around your table.
4 That is the Lord’s blessing
for those who fear him.
If you are a husband or a grapevine, or an olive tree, then this is a great promise of blessing for you. I love it because it says I am fruitful and I flourish! I’m also vigorous.
I love you all!

We Qualify
How many of us are worried about this country, where we are headed? Well, it has been said that the Lord plans to re-awaken America to His presence.
America was borne out of a spiritual awakening in Europe. God brought another awakening just before the Revolutionary war, and another before the Civil war. The Lord sustained our country through its toughest times by His people awakening to His powerful, loving presence. What brought about these wonderful moves of God? Prayer! A few believers would gather and pray, consistently and fervently. Then the Lord would send a preacher, himself a powerful pray –er who devoted his life to God. Google Jonathon Edwards, and George Whitfield. You should get at least a little background. Charles Finney, too.
Each of these awakenings came just after a financial disaster, as well. We definitely qualify!!
www.billyebrim.org streams noontime prayer every Wednesday. They also archive the prayers in case you can’t join live. Believers in scores of countries all over the world get together in harmony to pray for this awakening. From 12 to 1, central time. You can find the link on the right of the home page. We can be a part of ushering in the next Great Awakening! The Lord is more excited and hopeful than all of us put together!

Be Led
Blessings to you in Jesus’ name!
Romans 8:14, ‘14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children[g] of God.
15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.[h] Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”[i] 16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
Everyone who is born again is never alone. We have within our spirit the very spirit of the most high God, the power that executed the commands of the Creator, the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. The perfect love that never fails.
However, we can listen to His leading or not. With such a vast store of knowledge and wisdom, we would never make a single mistake if we follow Him. He always leads us into more life. He will lead us out of the curse (confusion, sickness and poverty) into the blessing (peace, health and prosperity).
At times I have wanted to hear Him (not really hear. More like a knowing in my conscience) but I couldn’t seem to get anything clear. If you have also felt that way, there are some really good messages that shed a lot of light on the subject . I will share just a few basic things below. Click here to listen to them or download to listen later. Ok, I can’t give you a hyperlink. Just copy and paste into your browser window.

first, remember that the Holy Spirit is a person, not a thing. He wants to fellowship with you. Then, remember that he is God. He deserves the utmost respect, shown by listening and obeying. No buts, no what abouts. Only yes, sir.
Third, learn to hear His voice inside you, not an audible voice. More like a sense of peace or direction, a knowing in your spirit. Not your head or your emotions. How do you know it’s the Lord? Well, it will always be in line with the word of God. It will always be in faith, never fear. It will always be accompanied with a peace. That doesn’t mean your head will be at peace. Remember He is not hanging out in our head, but in our spirit. The devil is the author of confusion. He gives you ‘options’ that you, and I, should never consider at all. He speaks into your head. It’s ok to gather information, but when you get the answer in your spirit, that is the end of all argument. No options. His leading will seem familiar. Jesus said in John 10 ‘my sheep know my voice, a stranger’s voice they will not follow’. So check inside. When you get the ‘knowing’ just do it. Until you get it, don’t do anything. It is so simple on paper! J but you can do it. You can!
I really would love it if you all would listen to these messages. You don’t have to register and they are free. I love you all.
By the way, I am beginning to gain weight. Praise God! Believe with me for working muscle. I am strong! Joel 3:10

Jesus the Only One
Hello everyone. Bless you in Jesus’ name.
Colossians 1 talks about Jesus:
15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.
17 He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
18 Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body.
He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead.
So he is first in everything.
19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ,
20 and through him God reconciled everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth
by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.
21 This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from him by your evil thoughts and actions. 22 Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.
What a savior! What love! He is everything… The beginning, the end, the first, the last. Thanks to Him, we have a relationship with the Most High God! We owe Him everything, our very lives. And when we give it to Him, He just makes it better. Wow!

Trust Him
I know everyone knows this from Proverbs 3, but thought it would be a good one.
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
This afternoon as some dear friends were praying with me, they saw the Lord untangling nerves and cutting off knots and straightening them, I got a glimpse of this scripture. Jesus showed me my ‘ways’ and ‘paths’ could be my nerve cells.
Well, I’m being whisked off to bed. I love you all!

Have Faith in God
Good afternoon, friends. Happy Father’s Day to all you dads!
‘have faith in God’, mark 11:22, words of Jesus. Who is your faith in when you pay your bills? Your paycheck, your boss or your Provider? Who is your faith in when you come up sick? Your doctor, your test result or your Healer?
One thing I learned today is .. Faith in God never puts pressure on people. Because you are not looking to people to meet your needs. I am still working on this. J
Even though people in certain jobs (airline ticket agents, clerks, etc) are supposed to provide a service for your money, trusting in God will help you to rest while dealing with them. Even if they aren’t providing the service you paid for, trusting in God will help you deal with them in a kinder, gentler way. God is your source. Not your husband or wife, not your job or even your pastor. That makes it simpler, now, doesn’t it? J have faith in God, the Faithful one!

Our Good Shepherd
Good evening, brothers and sisters.
In John 10, Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd. There is so much to learn, it is so rich! But one thing He said was that He calls us by name. We are not driven like cattle, we are called like sheep.
In physics, a force is a push or a pull. Gravity is a force, but it only pulls. There is no push with gravity. It draws us.
In the same way, the Lord only draws us. He never pushes. If you feel pushed, look at the pusher. It is not going to be Jesus! The thing about pulling, calling and drawing is, well, two things. First, you always have a choice. His calling is not irresistible, but it is wonderfully worthwhile. Second, a pull, call or drawing brings you closer, as in a relationship. The most beautiful relationship! Draw near today. I love you all!
John 10, remember to read! J

You Reap What you sow - Or do you?
How many of us have had some bad thing happen and asked ‘what did I do to deserve this’? Well, the answer is plenty. Romans says we have all sinned, and the wages of sin is death. If we were to reap what we sowed, we would be sick, depressed and confused all our short miserable lives, then we would go to hell.
Isn’t it wonderful that God is so rich in mercy that He sent Jesus to reap all that death and curse for us so we can live a long, peaceful and blessed life and then go to heaven?! Thank God for His mercy! God is just and fair. He will not pervert justice. Our sins had to be punished. Jesus took all our punishment so we can be blessed by God in every way. I am determined to not let it go to waste; how about you? Nothing Jesus paid for will be wasted in my life, as much as I can, with God’s help! I feel like I owe Him that gratification, knowing that when I am blessed it makes him look good to the world and maybe some will join the family. Then He will have the pleasure of reaping what they sowed, too! Boy, He sure loves us!

Freedom
Hello everyone.
In my weakness, He is strong. Paul the apostle wrote this in one of his letters. He was in prison, I assume, since most of his letters were written from prison. I know how he felt, not going anywhere. If I listen to the devil, I am in prison right here in my living room. Thank God for the word of God that makes me free! John 8:32 says that the truth makes me, and you, free.
What is imprisoning you? Is it lack of strength, health, money, or maybe lack of a bigger vision for your part of the Great commission? You need all four to head toward total freedom. Some days I can see myself impacting thousands for the kingdom. Other days I can barely see myself breathing without a machine or eating through my mouth again. Does God’s word change when my vision fails? Romans 3 says would our lack of faith make God unfaithful? Not even! Somewhere in Numbers the bible says that not one word has failed of all God’s promise. Freedom is ours! ‘stand fast therefore, in the liberty wherewith Christ has set you free’. (Galatians 5:1)
Those hard days are not failures; rather, they are opportunities to exercise your faith. It’s on those days that you can force yourself to be diligent like proverbs 4:20-23 encourages us.
20My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
I love you all. Keep your heart, vision and freedom!

Two Guages
Good afternoon, everybody.
There is so much truth in this one scripture. I think we could study it for a year and only scratch the surface. Much like every other scripture in the bible!
Romans 15, KJV
13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
New Living Translation
13 I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The definition of hope in the bible is not wishing, like we use it today. It is ‘ernest expectation’, like sticking your neck out looking for it. Our Father is called the God of hope here… He is expecting something from us. He believes in us! And He will fill us up, to the top, with all joy and peace as we believe. I heard someone use a parable to describe ‘the journey’ that we are on. He said when you are driving down life’s road in your faith-mobile, there are two gauges you need to watch; your joy gauge and your peace gauge. If they get too low, that is a sign you may be sputtering to a stop on the roadside of despair. You need to fill back up on the Word, because ‘faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God’.
You see, hope is the opposite of dread, which is expecting something bad to happen. Despair comes by hearing and hearing the words of the devil.
In this scripture God does most of the work. All we do is believe Him and He will fill us with all joy and peace, that we may abound in expecting good to happen. How will He do it? Through the power of the Holy Spirit. Oh, thank God for the Holy Spirit! The very presence and power of God living inside us! Awesome!!
I love you all,

In this scripture God does most of the work. All we do is believe Him and He will fill us with all joy and peace, that we may abound in expecting good to happen. How will He do it? Through the power of the Holy Spirit. Oh, thank God for the Holy Spirit! The very presence and power of God living inside us! Awesome!!

Good Soldiers
We are in the Lord’s army. As soldiers, we don’t have the luxury of choosing our assignment, but the commander knows the perfect place for us. It’s a place where our gifts and talents can be used to enlarge or enrich the kingdom. We have the choice to go with the commander, or go AWOL. No soldier has to pay his own way, however. The assignment of a soldier never comes with a pricetag. The kingdom pays the expenses. So if the Lord says spend a month on a mission in kukamonga, don’t worry about air fare. Have confidence that your commander has already prepared the way and met the needs. Your job is to download the plan and take the step. An old preacher once said ‘if God says build a building, dig a hole’. In other words, get your feet wet. If He gives you an image, paint it. I guess I should continue that book… J
I love you all. Be richly blessed !!

Higher Thoughts
Good evening everyone.
I have some thoughts on thoughts tonight…
As he thinks in his heart, so is he. Proverbs 23:7
7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55
9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10
I heard a story of a businessman who did some work for a royal family of a small country. When the work was done, the king insisted on giving him a gift and wanted him to name it. He finally said, ‘OK, give me a golf club.’ He thought that would be easy enough to ship, etc. After a few weeks, a limo came to his house. The driver was told to take him to his golf club. It came with 18 holes, putting greens and a clubhouse! Higher thoughts…
The Lord wants us to think bigger. We think ‘survive’ but He thinks ‘thrive’. We can only get there by giving up our thoughts and taking His. How? There are a few ways. Reading His words will give you His thoughts. Praying and listening to Him is another way. There is also praying in another tongue. When you do this, you are forsaking your thoughts and speaking the mysteries of God. And the Lord’s thoughts are downloaded straight to your spirit. So then you have a knowing inside.
Then, no matter which way you got that knowing, all you have to do is recognize that voice of peace in you and obey even if it defies logic. Because His thoughts are higher! Way, way higher!! I love you all.

So Near
Have you ever felt like you were alone, like nobody understood what you were going through? Did it even feel like God doesn’t quite get it? Read the below slowly, savoring each word like a bite of wonderful mouth-watering food. Chew on each line before you move on. Let Jesus talk to you.
Psalm 139
1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!
7 I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
They cannot be numbered!
18 I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
And when I wake up,
you are still with me!
mmm… Tasty! J
no matter how you feel, Jesus is with you and in you. He completely understands what you are going through. He understands way more than you do, and He knows the way out. As you let Him speak to you and make adjustments, things will begin to look better. He’s never not thinking about you. Trust me, or even better, trust Him.
I love you all.

James 1:22 SS clas i prayer
Blessings everyone.
My Sunday school teacher, David White, has been showing us many things from the Hebrew perspective. One thing that has really stuck with me is their respect and reverence for the word of God. When Paul wrote in Hebrews 4:12 that the Word is alive and powerful, it wasn’t new to them. They believe that every letter is not only alive but eternal, so it will never die. Jesus even said that heaven and earth will pass away but His word will never pass away. To us, it is a seemingly illogical truth to wrap our minds around, but to them, it was an accepted fact.
We get lots of tidbits like that each week. He also speaks a benediction over us every week. I wanted to share last week’s because it is so rich with scripture.
David White's Benediction:
May you hear the very words of God...and as they wash over you...may you see the veil being lifted...may you be transformed by what you see...may His presence be revealed in and around you...and may your heart and mind be directed towards Him...hearing the truth...and seeing the images that make it real...for He is your refuge and your fortress...who else will you trust...
For you have peace with God
For you have been chosen as an adopted child of God
For you are a living stone...together being built as the Temple of God
For you have access to the wisdom of God
For you have been reconciled to God
For you are under no condemnation
For you have His righteousness
For you are His representative...an ambassador to the world
For you are completely forgiven
For you have all your needs met by God
For you are tenderly loved by Him
For you are the aroma of Christ to God
For you are blameless and beyond reproach
For you are a new creation...all things are new...AMEN
I love you all.

Battling the Flesh
Good evening everybody,
You know, some days are wonderful. You get things done, your kids obey, and nobody irritates you. Unfortunately, those days aren’t every day, are they? J
Well, how do you handle life’s little bumps? I am no expert!
But this is where the rubber meets the road.
There is a HUGE difference between knowing something and actually doing it. There is a certain amount of mercy for not knowing something, but if you do know it and don’t do it, can you expect grace? Jesus was frustrated by His disciples for their ‘puny’ faith. Because they knew what to do, or should have. And those pharisees. Woah! I mean, woe! J(unto them, get it?) they should have known a lot, but they were blinded by pride. In some ways, they had more faith than some of us… They set Jesus up with sick people on the Sabbath because they knew He would heal them and they could accuse Him. They just knew Jesus + sick = healed, every time.
How did Jesus handle them? We know He never got in the flesh. He wasn’t really nice to them, though. Why do you suppose? Maybe (this is just me thinking) because everyone else spoke so softly for fear of being kicked out of the church. Sometimes people need harsh talk if they are not correctible. Hebrew law allowed beating if talk wouldn’t work. Jesus was trying to get their attention in the hope of saving some. At least, that’s what I think.
Then there was the time the Lord came down the mountain after talking with Moses and Elijah. The nine disciples left at the bottom couldn’t cast out a demon, and Jesus said something like ‘how long must I put up with you and your unbelief?’ was that flesh talking? It couldn’t have been. I’m sure He was tempted but He never said anything that the Father didn’t say. So the disciples needed to hear it just that way.
Back to us… There are times when sweet talk won’t work, BUT if you are hearing loud voices in your head, that’s not the Lord. Do or say the opposite, or do and say nothing. The bible says let peace be your umpire. Like I said, I’m no expert. But let me encourage you by saying, ‘peace, baby!’
I love you all!!

You be the Judge
Hello, brothers and sisters,
Did you know that our mighty, all-powerful God is limited? Now, hang on, I’m not trying to knock the Father off His throne; I mean He has limited Himself.
The kingdom of God, as described by 1 John and Paul in several of his letters, operates much like a courtroom. Father God is the righteous judge. He also made the laws. Jesus is our advocate; our defense attorney. (1 John 2) He also took all our punishment by His stripes and made us innocent by His blood. The devil, the accuser of the brethren, (Revelation 12:10) is the prosecuting attorney. His minions are constantly taping everything we do so he can condemn us. He is truly dirty; he tempts us, tapes us, accuses us, condemns us in our minds and if possible, forces God to judge us.
But God has stacked the deck in our favor. Here’s how to win…
Judge yourself and you will not be judged. (1 Corinthians 11:31) Confess those sins according to 1 John 1:9, and the Lord is faithful and just to forgive your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. So then you are righteous and innocent. But the devil still works on your mind, trying to keep you in condemnation. Romans 8:1 says that there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit. So, don’t listen to the devil, listen to the Spirit inside you. You see, the slightest condemnation destroys faith. John 3:17 says God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it.
When satan accuses you, Jesus has already paid the required punishment. But you have to be very careful what you say because anything you say can and will be used against you. Jesus tells you what to say as your attorney. He says ‘only say what is in the Word.’ If you stick with that, the prosecutor can’t make anything stick. His evidence has been erased by the blood of Jesus.
The only way to lose in this court is to either try to hide or justify your sin, or to plead guilty before the court. Remember if you have already judged yourself and repented, you’re not guilty. If the devil can get you to keep your sin in any of those ways, he wins. If he wins, he has a place in your life to bring the curse. The bible says to never give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:27) The reason God wants us not to give him a place is so He can bless us richly and abundantly in every area of our lives. So, follow the advice of your attorney/brother so that your judge/father can acquit you every time…
1. Judge yourself and repent. Make it right with others.
2. Accept forgiveness and cleansing. It’s gone forever!
3. Never act guilty of that again. Especially don’t talk guilt.
4. Go boldly before the throne of your Father, asking anything you need. You are clean. God loves you. All things are possible!
5. Thank Him for it, because it’s yours. See 1 John 4. (actually, 3:21, 22)
6. Keep thanking Him. Don’t let the devil get you to say you don’t have it, because his recorders are running! J
If you want to read about the courtroom, the book of Hebrews is a great place to start. And 1 John too.
I love y’all.

Want to come along?
Bless you in Jesus’ name!
22One of the synagogue officials named Jairus came up, and on seeing Him, fell at His feet
23and implored Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, so that she will get well and live."
24And He went off with him; and a large crowd was following Him and pressing in on Him.
35While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?"
36But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe."
37And He allowed no one to accompany Him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.
38They came to the house of the synagogue official; and He saw a commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing.
39And entering in, He said to them, "Why make a commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is asleep."
40They began laughing at Him. But putting them all out, He took along the child's father and mother and His own companions, and entered the room where the child was.
41Taking the child by the hand, He said to her, "Talitha kum!" (which translated means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").
42Immediately the girl got up and began to walk, for she was twelve years old
Luke 8 has a story of a man named Jairus. He had a twelve year old daughter who was sick and dying. He spoke words of faith to Jesus. Then he got a bad report. Jesus repeated his words of faith to him. It was a serious situation. Who did Jesus choose to go with him? Only three, not all twelve. Why? Did He play favorites? No. He is no respector of persons, but the other nine must have had a deficiency of something He needed. Jesus was anointed with the Spirit without measure. When they entered the house and the mourners mocked, He put them out. Why? What did Jesus need to get results? Faith. With unlimited power, He was limited by the environment. So He carefully chose those who would believe Him, and only they were privileged to see the miracle.
I want to be one that Jesus will choose, never put out. Want to come along?
I love you all!

A Blanket and a Sign
Good evening, friends.
Today someone came and brought me a new blanket. You might think that is sweet, and it is. But this blanket is special; it was sent straight from the Lord.
You see, some months ago I had a dream/vision. I was in a store like a Kohl’s with an old friend. I had picked out a green velvet jacket with a black fuzzy collar. As we were still shopping, a lady I barely knew came up and took the jacket from me and put it on. I thought I’d be polite, but Derozette, my friend, said, ‘don’t let her take your jacket!’ The lady said she wasn’t about to give it back. I didn’t know what to do, then Derozette said, ‘you have a receipt. It’s already paid for!’ then I ordered her to give it back while I pulled it off her shoulders. I finally got it, but she said, ‘I’ll take it from you again. I’ll get it in the parking lot’. I looked down at the jacket which now was a suit with a pink belt and a gold bracelet. I told her (my heart was in my throat) that I would have security walk me to my car. I put on the bracelet. The end.
Within a few weeks, the Lord provided the money to pay for my accrued medical bills. That was the bracelet. The green jacket is my health, and the pink belt is joy. The lady was the devil, and I think security would have been angels. Of course the receipt was the word, and Jesus paid the bill.
So this blanket is green. It has a pink belt sewn into it. Now I can remember and stir up my faith. But even more true is the Truth, the Word of God that never changes and will never pass away! I thank God for dreams and visions, and for friends who keep them alive in my heart.
I love you all. Live long and prosper… 3 John 2

Absolute Good
Hey, everybody. What a good day to get into the word of life!
I heard someone say this once… God is absolute good, like absolute zero is cold. Absolute zero is the lowest possible temperature there can ever be. It’s about 460 degrees below zero. It is the point where all heat has been removed; there is absolutely no heat left.
In the same way, God is absolute good;there is absolutely no bad in Him. Nothing mysteriously ‘good’ that would be called bad from anybody else. For instance, any parent would be locked up if they injected their child with aids or caused a car accident. These things are bad, but God is absolute good. No bad in Him. Some people say it is His judgment, but His judgments are written down in His word. We can go with them or against them, but they are never changing, good judgments. Like a car battery, if we hook up with Him according to His good judgments we will get the blessing in Deuteronomy 28. However, if we cross the wires by going against His good judgments we wind up in the curse (also in Deuteronomy 28). Remember, just because we cross the wires doesn’t make the battery bad. God is rich in mercy. Just ask and He will set you back on solid ground. Turn the wires right, admit that He is a LOT smarter than you, and decide to live by Proverbs 3:5-8. Things will begin to turn around for you.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.
7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
8 Then you will have healing for your body
and strength for your bones.
I love you all. Live long and prosper. J

Branches
Good evening everyone!
I heard a message recently about the vine and branches.
Here’s the passage from the Message bible, John 15.
1-3 "I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn't bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are already pruned back by the message I have spoken.
4"Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can't bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with me.
5-8"I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can't produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon.
Years ago I read a book that said, or at least implied, that the Lord sometimes prunes us with bad things. I have seen no scripture to confirm this and I have read in Acts 10 that everyone Jesus healed was oppressed of the devil, not ever pruned by the Father. In fact, this very passage from John says how we are pruned; by the word of God. Friends, God never ever uses anything from the law of sin and death for any reason whatsoever!! It is His enemy. See 1 Corinthians 15.
The message I heard was about the vine… if the vine is healthy and strong, won’t the branches be healthy and strong? Is Jesus a healthy and strong vine? If we are in Him, we draw from His strength and health. That is another reason we can be sure that it is always God’s will that we all be healed today. Praise God! We are Jesus’ branches.

Which is Easier?
Hi, all.
Look at Matthew 9, Mark 2 or Luke 5. There is a story about a lame man carried by four friends. They couldn’t get in the house to see Jesus, so they took him up on the roof, dug a hole, and let him down. This is Luke.
17 One day while Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of religious law were sitting nearby. (It seemed that these men showed up from every village in all Galilee and Judea, as well as from Jerusalem.) And the Lord’s healing power was strongly with Jesus.
18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take him inside to Jesus, 19 but they couldn’t reach him because of the crowd. So they went up to the roof and took off some tiles. Then they lowered the sick man on his mat down into the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20 Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man, “Young man, your sins are forgiven.”
21 But the Pharisees and teachers of religious law said to themselves, “Who does he think he is? That’s blasphemy! Only God can forgive sins!”
22 Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, “Why do you question this in your hearts? 23 Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’? 24 So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”
There are many people, like me, who were taught from a young age that getting your sins forgiven is easy; you just repent and receive forgiveness. But we weren’t taught that healing was that easy. However, Jesus asks which is easier, then proves that they are the same. Later, He pays for both on Good Friday.
They are equal and taken the same way… Hearing, believing, saying, obeying.
I love y’all.

Prayer
Good evening everyone.
Here is a passage of scripture that has been freaking people out for centuries. I pick it up after the crowds listening to Jesus flipped.
John 6.
Jesus didn't give an inch. "Only insofar as you eat and drink flesh and blood, the flesh and blood of the Son of Man, do you have life within you. The one who brings a hearty appetite to this eating and drinking has eternal life and will be fit and ready for the Final Day. My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. By eating my flesh and drinking my blood you enter into me and I into you. In the same way that the fully alive Father sent me here and I live because of him, so the one who makes a meal of me lives because of me. This is the Bread from heaven. Your ancestors ate bread and later died. Whoever eats this Bread will live always."
This passage is talking about spiritual things but they couldn’t see spiritually. Many non-christians still flip over this. We practice the ritual of communion to remember the new covenant and the sacrifice of Jesus’ blood and body. And that is wonderful!
Another way to commune with Jesus is ‘eating’ the word. It says in Job that the ear tastes words like the tongue tastes food. In Proverbs it says the word is life and health to your flesh.
Another way to commune with Jesus is prayer. Not just talking to Him, listening as well. Prayer can be defined as living communion with God. A continual awareness of the presence of the Lord. So eat and drink Him, and live!
I love you all.

Can you Please Him
Happy June! Bless this month in the name of Jesus.
Have you ever heard someone say, ‘well, I guess you could never read enough of the bible’ (or pray, or praise, etc.)? Is God unreasonable? Does He demand so much of your time and money that you can’t live? Not at all!! Your heavenly Father knows that you have a job and a family. It is definitely possible to please Him. DON’T let the devil convince you that you can’t please your Father. Because his next thing will be why even try. What a lame excuse for not reading the word of life! I’ve fallen for it, years ago.
If you are not opening your bible, let me challenge you to read just one new testament chapter every day, and read it with faith. ‘how do you do that?’ Well, as you sit down to read, pray that your eyes of your heart will see truth, and declare that you will do what you see in it. When you read it, don’t scan or speed read it. Read it carefully, respecting the word and expecting light to come. Even the names you can’t pronounce have life in them. Hebrews 4:12 says that the word is alive and active. Jesus is the word made flesh, so the bible is Jesus on the earth.
How many of you secretly think the bible is boring? Then you haven’t really read it! I have a suggestion: try a different version than king James. The Message is good or the New Living Translation. Try reading John 1 in both versions on www.biblegateway.com. Decide which you like. In fact, there are twenty or so good versions, but the most storylike are those two.
Please don’t let the devil deceive you anymore! Begin today, rebelling against the devil and obeying the Lord. It’s not too hard. It is doable. Just do it! One chapter. Every day. No big.
I love you all!
