daily bread

Good evening everyone,
32 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. 33 The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.”
35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. “

Think about manna for a moment. When God provided manna He gave them specific instructions for gathering. They could only gather about two quarts per person daily except Friday. Friday was about a gallon each, for two days. They had to gather in the morning before it melted away. It would get worms if they saved it up. Except Saturday.
Our daily bread , the word of God, works best the same way. Gathered, read, in the morning and meditated on, eaten, all day long.
