Jericho was a fight, but not much of one

Blessings everyone.
You know, I made a declaration yesterday and I am still putting my feet on it. I am not moved by what I see. I will not die but live and declare the works of God. With long life He will satisfy me, and show me His salvation. I wait upon (worshiping) the Lord and He renews my strength. I will run and not be weary. I will walk and not faint. I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes me to triumph in Christ.
At Jericho, the ram’s horns further terrified the city, but the people of Israel were not allowed to speak. Not a word. Wonder why? J
Years ago my kids would get in trouble, and I would put them on a word fast. They could not say a word to each other for however long. Made for some peaceful car rides. The point is I could not trust their words. Maybe the Lord couldn’t quite trust the people yet. Their parents certainly could not be trusted with words. At any rate, the Lord specifically wanted a shofar septet. And it says that they marched; wonder if they were in step? Over a million people would cause quite a shake, don’t you think? In the same way, praise music terrorizes the enemy’s forces. They get confused. That is a good thing.
So I guess our lesson can be to praise, play praise music and set a watch over our mouths. In other words, if it is not praise, thanks or faith, don’t say nuttin’ at all. J Love y’all. Be blessed!
healed by His stripes,
Nancy
