Following up on yesterday’s email, shadows have neither substance nor power, but light has both particles (substance) and energy (power, sort of). That is, light is made up of electrons. They travel just like any other object, in straight lines. You know, until they are bent by something like glass or water. Or they bounce off something like a mirror. Or until they are cut off by something opaque, creating a shadow. Those are the particle properties of light.
Colors are made by the wave properties of light. Each color has a different wavelength and frequency. Light waves, like water waves, vibrate at right angles to the direction of the wave. Higher frequency waves are higher in energy too.
Remember that physical things are copies of spiritual things. God Himself said He is light, and He created light with its properties for us to discover something about Him.
God is a just God. He ‘follows the rules’, so to speak. He will not pervert justice for anybody. But He wrote the rules, and He wrote in mercy. God is also a merciful God. From before the beginning, Jesus was the just sacrifice for all time. So mercy could, and can , and will, triumph. Thanks be to God who ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ! I love y’all.

Light is actually made of photons. In physics photons are both the smallest thing in the universe and the fastest things. Light is composed of millions of these tiny invisible photons, also called quanta. When light strikes your eye, the photons are actually absorbed through the nerve cells. Perhaps you have heard of them, they are called Rods and cones and you have over 130 million in each eye.
Since you have 130 million rods and cone nerve cells in each eye, then any given light or image will have over 260 million pixels or parts. Each photon can represent a different pixel in a sense, and a pixel and a photon are both information where a photon or light is a form of pure energy.
