Good evening everyone,
Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph in Christ!
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Grace is how the Lord blesses us and sustains us. The epistles (I call them ‘ians’) talk about grace all the time. One of the things that Paul links together often is grace and thanks. Go to biblegateway and do a keyword search on ‘grace thanks’ in king James. Many verses connect the two. If you remember all the good stuff God has done for you, like keeping you breathing and your heart beating, you know, little stuff, then you will give thanks to Him. When you thank Him it shows humility because you recognize that you don’t deserve it based on your works. Then God has a chance to extend more grace, and it causes more thanksgiving, then more grace, etc. It is a wonderful cycle! I love you all,
Healed by His stripes,
Nancy Bass
