Faith Hall of Fame

Good evening everyone,
Hebrews 11 lists lots of people who operated in faith. We automatically think they were all above reproach, or their flaws were minor. Well, not really. Take Rahab, for instance. She ran a house of ill repute in a penthouse apartment in the wall of Jericho. But she had faith in God to deliver her and her father’s family. There she is, listed by name when Daniel refused wasn’t. Not to compare, but that is sort of my point. God is not a respecter of persons, we are all loved the same, infinitely. Once we accept him, our past failures and mistakes are gone. Hallelujah we are clean!
When Rahab came out of Jericho, she was not called harlot. Her past was buried in the rubble. Your past and mine are even more gone, we are new creatures in Christ. By grace through… Faith. Woo hoo! I love y’all.
Healed by His stripes,
Nancy Bass
