Symphony

Good afternoon, everyone. I have gotten about ten assignments back so far. Keep them coming, they are blessing me richly and encouraging me.
Today I had a visitor. It was such a blessing! I am blessed by everybody that visits, for five minutes or an hour, or all day, whatever. In the course of the conversation, she reminded us (my family and me) of matthew 18:19. Here it is in the amplified version,
19Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.
Symphony. That is something my family can understand. We each have a different job, a different note to play. When we are playing together on the same music, in tune with each other, we create a powerfully beautiful atmosphere. When we don’t, the results are, well, ugly. Notice the next verse ,
20For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.
… Drawn into His name. What is His name? His name is everything He is. It is the Word of God in its entirety. It is His promises, His passion, His power and authority. If we are really drawn into His name, then we are in agreement with His word. Then, bless the Lord, we make a symphony with Jesus as the Master Pianist. He doesn’t just conduct, he participates! What a marvelous sound, everyone in tune with the Holy Spirit, on the same page (the word) with Jesus. Awesome!
Don’t be flat. Dull to the word or weary in well doing.
Don’t be sharp. Unkind to others or having self pity.
Be in tune. Built up on the truth (there is only one Truth), acting in love. I’m preaching to myself. J
Above all, stay on the same page as Jesus. Let’s make beautiful music together!
I love you all,
healed by His stripes,
Nancy Bass
